Ben Sever, Chairman, CEO & Founder of eRemede, MBP Ventures, and RGA Institute, has defined himself as a pillar of the Tampa Bay community committed to Tampa’s local innovation ecosystem, local economic development efforts, and start-up atmosphere. Ben has also dedicated himself to philanthropy in our community serving on boards dedicated to children’s research, technology, healthcare, and economic development.  Ben is also a strong military advocate and serves as a Board Member of Macdill’s Project Transition USA where he has spent years assisting transitioning veterans get acclimated to the corporate workforce.

Although Ben is known for being a serial entrepreneur, he much prefers “serial philanthropist” as his legacy, because “living a purpose to empower others” is his north star. This sentiment is apparent in everything Ben does from his company’s mission statements, to his personal employment title “Chief Empowerment Officer”. Ben consistently encourages his team to get involved in the community and give back to Tampa Bay.

Ben practices what he preaches and invests not only his time but his resources into the Tampa Bay community. Since the pandemic started last year, Ben Sever has given over $100K to both philanthropic and local economic development causes including but not limited to: AdventHealth Carrollwood Foundational Board, American Heart Association, Tampa Bay Chamber, A Kids’ Place, Where Love Grows, Clothes To Kids, Feeding Tampa Bay, Children’s Cancer Center, Florida Association of Veteran-Owned Businesses, Cure Kids’ Cancer Now, Tampa Bay Wave and The Tampa Club.
